Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers - 7.2./10

I didn't watch the show, so I don't have any attachment with it. I'm hearing that is the spiritual successor to Who Framed Roger Rabbit. And honestly, it kinda is. John Mulaney and Andy Samberg were great in their roles. Both had wonderful chemistry together and play off each well. Lending their voices such as the extremely talented Will Arnett, Tress MacNeille, Keegan-Michael Key, Eric Bana, Dennis Haysbert, J.K. Simmons and Seth Rogen were all strong. The animation is exquisite. It's a love letter to different styles of animation. It's not afraid to poke fun at Disney and other animation studios. I was honestly surprised at how much they got away like, I said they're not afraid to poke fun, not only at Disney. But at its competitors. I was surprised by how much I was laughing, it was so well-written.

Kiki Layne was great in If Beale Street Could Talk. She was good in The Old Guard and Coming to America 2 (even though the scripts won't that good.) But here she was wooden and monotone. As great as the animation is, it can be quite wanky at times, especially with the 3-D animation looking like 2-D animation for example look at Chip and Sweet Pete. Also, the second trailer gave a lot away. Because most of the surprises were ruined. And when the second this character came up and I heard his voice, I knew he was the villain.
