This is a movie, and Creed is the best sports movie of the last decade. This is Will Smith's best performance he has ever done. He gives everything to this role, and you can tell. He gives a beautiful and heartfelt portrayal of Richard Williams. Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton are nothing short of remarkable and shooting stars of they will take Hollywood by storm. Aunjanue Ellis is incredible; she delivers so many powerful scenes. I have never seen Jon Bernthal in a role like this before, his not his usual tough guy, but he was very grounded and down to earth. Tony Goldwyn was good; he never gives a bad performance that I can think of. Reinaldo Marcus Green's direction is sensational and flawless. Kris Bowers' score is uplifting and exciting; it is up there with Bill Conti’s score from Rocky. The training montages and the finale are pure cinematic electricity.
It’s truly an inspirational story, and that soars into your hearts and makes you believe in your dreams if you work hard and have your loved ones support and care for you. Because they have your best interests at heart. I don’t watch sports, but I remember watching Venus Williams and Serena Williams playing, and they were epic. They are the greatest tennis players of our time. Both of them changed everything in the sports industry by being the first African American female tennis players to inspire young girls of all races that can achieve anything. They are legendary and amazing role models.
As for flaws, the only one that bothered me was the length of the runtime. It was a little too long, so in the middle of the second act, I felt it drag. But other than that, that's it.
Check this movie out it deserves your time and attention. See this on the big screen as soon as you can.
