The King's Man – 5.2./10

Jadd J.A.D.D. Jadd You know the first movie shouldn’t have worked, but it did, it told a story we know, but with its unique style of action and world, it stood out. I respect how crazy it was, but it got too crazy for its good. And this has fantastic, slick, stylised and creative ceramic angles. Other than that, it’s just another boring and generic spy movie. Ralph Fiennes, Djimon Hounsou, Gemma Arterton and Rhys Ifans are all fine with what they have to work with, and they are all great in the action in their action sequences. Two tracks are noticeable, and that will be Dance on Your Graves and Crooked Blade, both had the adrenaline and excitement that the soundtrack needed. If you were to ask me what the first two Kingsman I could tell you, but if you were to ask me what this movie was about and I couldn’t tell you. It’s a bloated and over-complicated story. All the characters are flat, and all the side characters are in the background with no personality or development. The runtime is two hours and eleven minutes, and it felt eternity. A lot of stuff could’ve been paced better and cut out. By the time the ‘villain is revealed’ is shown, I didn’t care, and it was pretty obvious who it was, and his motivation was done to death. The villains' plans in the first two movies were clichéd but done insanely and memorably. Honestly, if you want to see this, wait for it on Disney+. Because by the time I came out of it, I couldn’t remember that I had seen it. That’s how unmemorable this movie is.

Fair score, i wasnt really that excited about this as i thought it might be. There were some issues with the son that made no sense whatsoever in this film.
